John Wesley Leek

Pastor John aims to find innovative ways to connect communities to Christ. He graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary, Kentucky, in 2013. He and wife Abby are the parents of three young sons.

“We are called to be people who are being made new and into the likeness of God's son, Jesus,” Leek says. He wants everyone to know the basics of faith and discipleship.

He sees in Bethany Church a heart for community, for building up Christ's body together, and for serving beyond the church walls. “What I like most already about Berwick in general and Bethany Church in particular is the kind and generous attitude you share.”
